Not only are the students secretive, but so is their rarely seen Headmaster, Professor Karkaroff. As for the Dark Arts, hardly any families are associated with the Dark Arts anymore, which is something that Karkaroff isn't too pleased with. It's like everyone nowadays is from a pure home. Even worse, it's no longer just Dark families which are rich. No one seems to want to even learn the Dark Arts anymore, and with the rise of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, more students are wanting Defense Against the Dark Arts. ellion affect Durmstrang, and will Durmstrang ever get a good reputation, or will it stay the same, or gradually become more and more associated with You-Know-Who? She stands at 5'2, a very average height for women in her family and her weight barely reaches 50 kilograms(110 pounds). Her hair is dark, ranging from brown to black depending on the lighting, and is layered the longest ending at her stomach. Silviya's dark bangs are usually parted to the right covering one of her silvery blue eyes. Silviya dislikes wearing any cosmetic products and is usually only seen with dark eye make up. Her dressing style outside of school is all dresses. She loves her black dresses and believes every lady should have one. Due to the cold weather in Russia, she is often forced to wear large, luxurious coats and other things to keep warm. Physical Flaws: If you were to ask Silviya what her flaws are she would complain about her pointed nose, slim figure, and odd looking chin. Silviya is one of those people if you give her time, she'll give you a mile long list of things she hates about herself. Personality: Silviya has one of those personalities that you have to take for the good and the bad. Sometimes she's amazingly sweet, kind and charming and at others rude, bossy and insecure. She also has a line of defenses for when she meets knew people. She's often mean, sarcastic and a bit of a bully when she first meets a person. As she warms up to them she turns into a social butterfly; being charming, sweet and one of the best friends you could have by your side. Silviya has quite a temper, we have her mother to thank for this, that is often unleashed on unsuspecting people. When mad even her friends don't want to be around her because she's horribly rude and a bit of a baby. Silviya has a reputation as an unstable individual, but loves her friends all the same. To people outside of her world, she seems stuck up, self absorbed and a bit of a diva. This is because she's definitely shy. She usually doesn't speak unless spoken to. For the most part Silviya tries to be the best person she can be and usually beats herself up when she does something to hurt someone. Good personality traits: Loyal||Caring||Extremely Witty||Determined||Loving. Bad personality traits: Sarcastic||Brash||Argumentative||Extremely Vain at times||Secretly Very Self Conscious. Family Members: Katia Ianevski- Mother Mikhail Ianevski- Father Anya Ianevski- Adopted Sister Family History: Silviya's family is fully Russian and can speak Russian fluently. Silviya's father, Mikhail. did traveling a lot for his work and never seemed to be home. Her mother, Katia, was extremely strict and only expected the best from the two girls. Proper etiquette, perfect grooming, perfect marks in school, perfect speech, everything! Anya, Silviya's younger adopted sister, belonged to her late aunt and is actually her cousin. Still they consider each other as sister's and are very close. Character's History [2 paragraphs minimum.]: As a little girl Silviya's mother sought out to give her daughter the best education money could buy. Silviya learned how to read and write Cyrillic Script and speak many Slavic languages. Her mom was a bit of a control freak, eliminating much of Silviya's childhood. Her father, never being home, was not able to give her her childhood back. Once her sister was adopted the pressure on her let up a bit, but she still was forced to act like an adult. Once she got accepted into Durmstrang, things changed drastically. She made friends her age and was finally able to be a normal child. While Silviya has had to fight for a good status at Durmstrang, she would never take back being able to be a student. Silviya didn't take crap from anyone during her first years, nor does she now. She's a good student, but chooses to slack off quite a bit earning her punishment a lot. Silviya is not a supporter of the Dark Lord and has no real interest in the Dark Arts. Role Playing Example: [2 paragraphs minimum + dialogue] Silviya sat at one of the partially empty tables in the Mess Hall, her usually neat, straight hair disheveled and wavy and her eye make up smudged. She had refused to wake up on time to join the rest of her friends, so she had to eat breakfast alone. This was a normal routine for her considering she loved sleeping. Piling a small amount of non-meat foods onto her plate and dug in slowly. She wasn't even a quarter done with her meal when a large shadow eclipsed her. "Not today, Yuri." Silviya said, her voice ice cold and bitter. "What's the matter, princess?" his voice was thick with an accent and a bit slow sounding. "I don't like you, that's what. Can you leave me alone now?" she shot back harshly. The large, burly boy gave a noise that was a mixture between a growl and a snort. "Have a hair ball, Yuri?" Silviya chuckled, giving him a rude look. "You might want to watch who you talk back to Silviya. Bad things might happen." "Oh. I'm shaking in my fur boots." she smiled sarcastically, shoving her plate aside. "You made me loose my appetite. I'm leaving." And with that, she simply stood up and walked out of the Mess Hall.
